Dodger Divorce -- Sooooo Hollywood

Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt and estranged wife Jamie spent a lovely evening with their respective lawyers at Spago restaurant in Bev Hills recently. Actually it wasn't lovely at all.

Frank McCourt Dining

Our sources say Jamie and her mega-lawyer, Dennis Wasser (back to camera) asked Frank and his legal eagle, Marshall Grossman, to join them at Wolfgang's joint on October 8th, 3 months after the couple split. Someone we know at a table nearby took the pic.

Grossman tells TMZ it was "awkward ... a chilly evening," adding he thought it was going to be a conciliatory dinner but was more like "the last supper."

We're guessing it went something like this ...

Frank
: Marshall, would you please tell the shrew to pass the salt?
Jamie: Dennis, please tell Frank he's a moron.
Frank: Marshall, tell her at least this moron owns the Dodgers.

Grossman groused that Jamie and Dennis split before the bill came, so Frank picked up the tab.

As for Wasser, he tells us he also reps Wolfgang, so he didn't have to bring a special taster for safe measure.

Jamie McCourt -- I'm No Cheater

The soon-to-be ex-wife of Los Angeles Dodgers head honcho Frank McCourt says she never hooked up with another man before their marriage fell apart -- but she does plan on stripping Frank one last time ... with a plan that would make her the sole owner of Frank's beloved baseball team.

Jamie McCourt -- I'm No Cheater

In an interview with the L.A. Times, Jamie denied her husband's accusations that she was engaged in an "inappropriate relationship" with former Dodgers employee Jeff Fuller before things ended with Frank, saying, "I have never been with another man until the marriage broke up. Ever. Ever."

Jamie added, "I never even had a date until I was separated -- besides my husband."

Jamie also mentioned she had a plan to buy the Dodgers outright saying, "I don't need to be the controlling interest, I just love baseball that much and want to stay a part of it and lend my expertise any way I can."

It's unclear when and how Jamie plans on making her move.

Jamie McCourt Strikes Out in Court

Frank McCourt won't have to see his wife around the office -- at least for now. A judge just shut down Jamie McCourt's bid to be reinstated as CEO of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

McCourt
And, in a scene straight out of "War of the Roses," the judge ruled Jamie gets exclusive rights to the family swimming pool in Holmby Hills between 6 AM and 2 PM.

Spilt CelebritiesThe judge also ruled Jamie gets exclusive use for now of the couple's Malibu home, each gets 2 trips to their various homes to remove their valuables and neither one can remove the other's name from their credit cards.

Frank fired Jamie last month after the bitter split in a marriage that lasted nearly 30 years.

Jamie McCourt's BF Called 'Liar' By Ex

L.A. Dodgers owner Frank McCourt's divorce from wife Jamie has a new plot twist -- the ex-wife of the ex-Dodgers employee who is now the current boyfriend of Frank's estranged wife claims Jamie's new man is a big fat liar. Follow that?

Jamie McCourt

Here's the lowdown. This past weekend we posted a story that Jeff Fuller -- who was fired by the Dodgers last month as either the Director of Protocol or a driver -- was accused in 1995 by his then-wife of brutalizing her when she was 7 months pregnant .... pushing her into a wall and knocking her down. The wife -- who now goes by Michele DesMarteau -- got a restraining order against Jeff.

We also posted a letter Jamie's rep forwarded to us from Michele to Jeff, which said Michele believed the legal documents we obtained had been altered and that Jeff was never violent.

Now ... Michele contacted us yesterday and said she never wrote the letter Jeff's rep forwarded to TMZ. She says Jeff asked her to make the "false statement" but she refused. She says he wrote the letter knowing the incident really did occur.

Jeff tells TMZ Michele "approved" the letter. He did not say if she wrote the letter or if he wrote it. Interesting.

Jamie McCourt in A League of Her Own

The Los Angeles Dodgers Chief Operating Officer claims Jamie McCourt -- Frank McCourt's estranged wife -- showed an "almost disdainful disregard" for workplace etiquette ... this according to new legal docs filed in the McCourt divorce and obtained by TMZ.

COO Dennis Mannion signed a declaration in support of Frank, in which he claims Jamie was frequently absent from executive meetings and when she showed she was not capable of or interested in focusing on the team. Mannion says Jamie "demonstrated a marked lack of interest" in all things relevant to the Dodgers. Mannion says Jamie only did things "to cultivate and promote her image as the 'highest ranking woman in Major League Baseball.'"

Mannion says when Dodger honchos had meetings about specific projects, all Jamie would say is she was "working on strategic things with Frank."

Bert Fields, one of Jamie's lawyers, has one word for Mannion -- "Baloney."

Jamie McCourt's New Man Takes the Wheel

Jamie McCourt's new man really knows how to get her motor runnin' -- literally and figuratively -- because this weekend, she was still using Jeff Fuller to drive her around town.

Jamie & Jeff: Click to watch
We got the estranged wife of Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt leaving Philippe Chow last night with a group of her lady friends. The only guy in the picture: Fuller, who took the wheel when it was time to head out.

As TMZ previously reported, Frank fired Jamie from her job as CEO of the Dodgers after he found out about her relationship with Jeff -- citing an "inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee" ... i.e. Jeff.

Dodgers Divorce -- BF Had Legal Woes

The L.A. Dodgers divorce case between Frank and Jamie McCourt has a new plot twist. Seems Jamie's new BF had a "relationship" problem in the 90's -- as in, his pregnant wife claimed he got physical with her.

TMZ obtained a restraining order issued against Jeff Fuller, Jamie's new guy. Jeff's wife at the time -- Michele Christine Fuller -- claimed in May 1995, when she was seven months pregnant, she called 911 after Jeff pushed her into a wall and knocked her down.

Fuller also says in December of that same year, after the baby was born, Jeff -- with whom she had already separated -- came to her home and started banging on her window, trying to force his way into the house.

She wrote in her declaration: "I am very afraid. He is becoming more and more violent, and I believe he will start to act on some of his threats."

The judge issued the restraining order on December 20, 1995.

TMZ has obtained a letter Michele sent to Jeff today saying she doubts the legal papers -- which we obtained from microfiche at the courthouse -- are authentic: "I do not think they are authentic or at least they may have been altered."

She adds it was a difficult time in her life and she said and did "things that I later regretted." Michele does not believe she said what was in her declaration.

Michele adds, "[He] was not violent towards me and in fact, I can't imagine [him] being violent towards any woman."

Dodgers to McCourt Judge -- Please Butt Out!

The Los Angeles Dodgers have gone on record in the "War of the Roses" divorce between Frank and Jamie McCourt, claiming the family court should butt out of Dodger business. And, for good measure, the Dodgers claim Jamie was fired for allegedly having an affair with a subordinate ... and the team goes into detail.

frank and jamie mcourt
In legal papers filed with the family law judge, the Dodgers organization is asking to be heard as a friend of the court, opposing Jamie's bid to be reinstated as CEO of the operation.

The Dodgers organization claims, "Simply stated, this Court has no jurisdiction to order the Dodgers to do anything because it is a non-party to these proceedings."

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the Dodgers claim Jamie "has been paid her $2,000,000 a year salary in full through December 31, 2009. She was an at-will employee. The marital dissolution should not be used to interfere with the lawful control and management of the Dodgers."

And get this ... the legal papers state, "Given the dysfunction which was caused by the Petitioner's prior employment, her inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee and the clear acrimonious relationship between her and Mr. Court (sic), if she were reinstated by order of this Court it would no doubt lead to this Court being called upon to oversee the day to day management of the Dodgers."

The Dodgers allege Jamie was fired "for having an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee, Mr. Jeff Fuller, her self-described '24 hour driver' and '24 hour security.'"

The Dodgers grouse that Jamie wants the Dodgers to reinstate her as well as Fuller -- "Translation: She wants the Dodgers to pay her live in boyfriend for his companionship" while working for the organization.

Tommy Lasorda Dragged into McCourt Divorce

Tommy Lasorda has just been injected into the nasty divorce between Los Angeles Dodgers owners Frank and Jamie McCourt -- and the baseball legend may not even know it.

Tommy Lasorda

In court papers filed today, Frank describes a conversation he had with Tommy Lasorda back in September, in which the Dodger Hall-of-Famer "surprised" Frank by asking if he was going to an event honoring Lasorda at the Smithsonian in D.C.

Frank claims he had "no knowledge" of the event -- and it was Jamie's duty to tell him about stuff like that.

Frank claims the Lasorda incident was just another example of how Jamie was keeping Dodgers management out of "the loop" -- and uses this example to justify firing her from her job as CEO of the team.

Frank McCourt -- I'm 'Sole Owner' of Dodgers

Frank McCourt says his estranged wife Jamie McCourt made her bed and doesn't want to sleep in it -- stating in court documents that she's known all along that she is not a co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Frank McCourt

In the documents, filed today by Frank's lawyers, he says he and Jamie signed a marital property agreement in 2004 that spelled out two things: all their residential real estate is her separate property -- while The McCourt Company, Inc., and the Dodgers are his separate property. Frank says Jamie proposed this deal.

In the papers Frank says he "entered into this agreement to honor the request of my wife and ensure that she would have tens of millions of dollars in assets that would be protected from the claims of my creditors."

Basically, the document claims Jamie got what she wanted, and that Frank is "registered with Major League Baseball as the sole owner" of the Dodgers.

Frank goes on to say in the court filing that Jamie wanted a new agreement that would make all their assets, including the Dodgers, community property -- but in May he told Jamie he would not sign that deal.

Spilt CelebritiesThe couple separated in July, which is when -- according to the documents -- Jamie asked Frank to move out of their Malibu home, and asked him to make Jeff Fuller "just her driver."

We're told Jamie and Jeff have been dating since the McCourts split. The Dodgers fired Jeff in mid-October.

Jamie McCourt -- 'Real' Frank Will Be Exposed

One of Jamie McCourt's lawyers has issued a stern warning to her estranged husband Frank -- if the L.A. Dodgers owner doesn't play ball, "a lot will come out about the kind of person Frank McCourt is."

Jamie McCourt

The lawyer, legendary Bert Fields, tells TMZ Frank and Jamie were in the middle of a "happy marriage" in 2004, when Jamie agreed to sign the Marital Property Agreements that Frank presented to her. Those agreements directly addressed ownership of the Dodgers, among other valuable assets.

Fields also tells us that while Frank now claims those Marital Property Agreements gave Frank sole ownership of the Dodgers, Jamie has an "unimpeachable witness" who will attest to the fact that Frank has repeatedly acknowledged Jamie's community property ownership of the team.

FYI -- Fields joins a legal team consisting of family law attorney Dennis Wasser, who has repped stars like Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg.

This is only day one of the official divorce battle ... it's gonna be one hell of a fight.

Jamie McCourt -- I'm Not Giving Up the Dodgers

In Jamie McCourt's divorce documents filed against her husband Frank, she is challenging Frank's statement that he is the sole owner of the Dodgers -- claiming she's been bamboozled.

Jamie McCourt

In the docs, Jamie says they faced a "myriad of creditors" and for that reason certain assets were held solely by Frank -- notably the Dodgers.

Jamie says when she signed the agreements giving away her rights to the Dodgers, she was not represented by legal counsel. Jamie demands that the court declare "that any purported capital Marital Property Agreements are null, void, and unenforceable."

Furthermore, Jamie says the homes she and Frank had were held by her solely -- not as community property.

In the docs, Jamie also adds, "Frank and I always considered the real estate to be our property -- just like the Dodgers."

Frank McCourt -- 911 Call Phoney Baloney

Frank McCourt's lawyer says the 911 call his estranged wife made against him was as phoney as Eric Gagne's arm.

Frank McCourt -- 911 Call Phoney Baloney

Marshall Grossman, lawyer for the L.A. Dodgers owner, tells TMZ. "If that is her story then 'security chief' Jeff Fuller has a body double. This 911 call was phoney as any fair observer would realize. Clearly the police recognized its foolishness as no action was taken and Mr. McCourt was never even contacted."

Increasingly, Jeff Fuller seems to be the man in the middle here.

Fuller -- an heir to the Pillsbury fortune who was fired as Director of Protocol for the Dodgers earlier this month -- is romantically involved with Jamie ... though sources say the relationship began after her break-up with Frank.

UPDATE: Jamie McCourt's attorney tells TMZ, "I reiterate, the facts speak for themselves."

McCourt 911 Drama

UPDATE: A lawyer for Jamie tells TMZ, "Contrary to the statement by Mr. McCourt's attorney, no one other than Mrs. McCourt and the housekeeper were at the home when Mr. McCourt appeared and police were called.

The police report and the facts of the situation speak for themselves.
"

Frank McCourt
-- owner of the L.A. Dodgers -- scared his estranged wife Jamie so badly she called 911, this according to law enforcement sources.

McCourt 911 Drama

It happened Sept. 5 2009, at 10:10 in the morning. We're told Jamie was swimming in the pool of her Holmby Hills home when Frank suddenly and unexpectadly appeared. Jamie called 911, explaining that she was frightened because of previous incidents in which Frank had allegedly lost his temper and scared her.

Jamie then called the couple's private security for assistance.

By the time the LAPD responded, private security had already arrived to make sure Jamie was OK.

When cops arrived, the officers interviewed both Jamie and the couple's housekeeper -- who told police she had heard Jamie scream.

Soon after she spoke with cops, we're told Jamie left the house.

But Frank sees things a different way, his lawyer just released the following statement on his behalf:

"The events described by TMZ occurred when the McCourts had already separated.

Mr. McCourt was living alone at the residence in West Los Angeles and his wife was residing in Malibu. That morning, Mr. McCourt left the house and went jogging. When he returned home to the West Los Angeles residence, he found his wife swimming in the pool and her personal "security assistant" Jeff Fuller, was also at the residence.

The news of a 911 call came as a surprise to Mr. McCourt. He had no knowledge of any 911 call at the time; or of any visit by any police officers and law enforcement has had no contact with him. As previously reported by TMZ, Mrs. McCourt and Mr. Fuller have been linked romantically.

Any 911 call makes no sense at all unless there was an ulterior motive which you can be assured will be fully explored.
"
